The title says it all! Where from here, amigas? Every week I try to encourage you with my own story as an example. My example really should tell everyone who read my blog every week that there truly is hope. Hope for what you have decided to accomplish with the help of our Savior Jesus Christ! That is the bottom line!
This week I just want to dedicate a little of my writing to my best friend, my husband. He has been on the trail now for 2 months. He has hiked over 600 miles. He has gone from Maine to Vermont. He will be on the Massachusetts line in about three days. He is now averaging 20 mile days and feeling great!
Amigas, you are probably thinking why is she saying all this? This is the reason. He has decided to come home to continue what he calls the “ministry” of fathering. He has done what the Lord has called him to do and is ready to do the last 350 miles to Delaware Water Gap, PA. I can’t argue with that!![]()
With all the opportunities that he has had to share the gospel on the AT he has also lost 39 lbs and is now weighing 165 lbs! He is such an inspiration to me, and our family, that I wanted to share a little of his life with you ladies also!
I am trying to say, amigas, that you don’t have to climb over 60 mountains, hike everyday, and be gone from home for 2 to 3 months! My husband would tell you that also. I am here to tell you that you can do what he did (not as fast of course) in your own home and backyard!![]()
Amigas, stay encouraged, will you? Keep up your days! If you had a bad day start again tomorrow! God will give you the strength to and your attitude will be amazing if you keep putting His Word in your walk!![]()
Psalm 145:1-3 says, “I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised And His greatness is unsearchable.”
