When it comes to Wednesdays and living well I often think, “What now?” What can I share that I haven’t shared already? I think about my own journey in getting back to health. The Lord reminds me every day that I have either missed something or I learn something that same day to encourage you, amigas!
Today, my encouragement is to remind you that you don’t need a gym to get in shape. My daughter who teaches “Zumba” was laid off work because of the shortage in clientele. The Lord had allowed us to be members of this gym because of her employment. Under these circumstances, I asked myself this question, “What now?”
As we were leaving the gym I felt a little sad but excited at the same time. Okay, what did I learn the past 2 1/2 years? Amigas, as it takes determination, motivation, and discipline to exercise at your local gym, but it will take the same effort here at home.
My head was already planning my next exercise routine and how to accomplish it without getting discouraged. Guess what? It worked! I walked two miles and swam for almost two hours today!
Also, I own a stepper that I will get on before dinner!
I have been thinking all day that I will probably exercise more here because I can do it through out the day instead of the hour I have at the gym.
Amigas, I hope this encourages you this week. Remember, if you don’t have weights at home you can use canned vegetables throughout your daily routines. Sometimes, I even use one of my small dogs! They think you are playing with them!
*Before getting sweaty remember to eat a light snack. (possibly about 100 calories) My favorite is a tsp. of peanut butter! Crunchy of course!
Philippians 4:19 “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Hasta Luego, Amigas!
*My husband has done over 117 miles on the trail
and has already lost about 20lbs. Please continue praying for him as he is sharing the gospel! Remember, to check updates at www.hike4fathers.com

For me, getting my “moves” in at home works. If I have to get in the car and go to a gym, I might make the decision to skip it. I like having the equipment at home to use when I can fit it into my schedule.
I will check out your husband’s website.
