Summer is back in session! Kids are home, snacks are now more available then ever! Vacations, fast foods, ice cream and then more snacks!
You can make it through, amigas! Great news! You have now more motivation to get your exercise gear on, and begin exercising by getting the children out and about so they can have a good night’s rest.
Swimming is a great past time for the whole family. Do you realize how many calories you burn while enjoying your family at the same time? I was researching the calories you can loose while swimming per hour and this is what I found out.
A person who weighs 130 lbs. can burn 354 calories per every hour they swim or move around the pool. Someone who is 150 lbs can burn 422 calories per hour and then someone who weighs 190 lbs. can burn 518 calories per hour.
What I do when I have time to jump in the pool is exercise as if I was in the gym.
I do crunches, run in place, and do leg lifts by holding on to the side wall. Add laps, play volleyball and there is your day in the gym!
Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
I am heading out to Six-Flags over Georgia tomorrow morning! My kids are all excited! Am I? Yes I am for them and now again I can say that I am
thankful for being in shape because it is going to be a long day!
