2 Timothy 2:5 “And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.”
The past two years I have felt I was competing in athletics and preparing myself for the Olympics! I wasn’t sure when or how the preparation was going to come in handy. My answer came this weekend at my daughter’s wedding!
I thought I was running a marathon and the finish line seemed a long way off!
I ate according to the rules and truly enjoyed the wedding cake. I ran everywhere as if no one else was there to help!
Because of my decision to get in shape physically, emotionally and spiritually, I was able to be there in every way possible for my beautiful daughter.
Thinking back, I am thankful to the Lord for giving me the endurance necessary to follow through with my decision to get in shape!
Amigas! Endure during your change of lifestyle! You will be thankful when faced with big events that usually come along in living the day to day as a woman, friend, wife and mother!

You look just fabulous as does the beautiful bride. My second daughter is getting married next May and one of my goals is to be in excellent shape for her big day.
