Everyday is a new Day…

My husband and I recently renewing our wedding vows along with 4 out of our 8 sons!I realized late Tuesday night, that tomorrow is Wednesday already!  This week has flown by, hasn’t it?  When we are in a weight loss journey, every day should be treated as a new beginning.

I wanted to share with you and encourage you in knowing that if we had french fries, a frosty, and a cheeseburger this weekend, don’t give up because you feel you like blew itToday is a new opportunity to do it right.  Remember! It boils down to the way you view food.  Have you changed your bad habits?

If you used to eat rice, potatoes with heavy butter and sour cream but, now you eat salads and vegetables, then you are doing better! What about drinking teas and coffees without heavy creams and sugars?  Have you replaced those with water instead?

If you take the stairs instead of the elevator then, you have changed another bad habit! What about incorporating a 20 minute exercise routine to your week day routine? Too much effort? How about every other day?

These are just reminders.  I also would like to remind you of daily devotions with God.  Have you changed the bad habit of putting everything before dedicating our time to the Lord?  This also can be changed.  Have you changed your thought life too?  These all go hand in hand, amigas!

“The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” Ecclesiastes 7:8

Don’t give up, amigas!  The Lord gives strength to all who asks Him so ask Him! He is willing to help you continue on your incredible journey!

Till next week, amigas!

Hasta Luego!
